Lewis Eldon (some accounts list Edgar) - b May 22, 1867 in Lisbon,Linn,IA - d Feb 25, 1946 in Kellerton,Ringgold,IA. He married Lydia MURPHY (Aug 22, 1870 - Nov 15, 1935) on January 2, 1892 near Kearney,Buffalo,NE. Lewis and Lydia lived in Burda,,NE before moving in 1900 to Humboldt,Humboldt,IA. In 1909, they moved to Bancroft,Kossuth,IA, and to Lamoni,Decatur,IA in 1912. Lewis and Lydia were divorced in 1913 and Lewis married Emma MARSH (b ca1877 IA - d 1939) in 1916. Sometime thereafter Lewis and Emma moved to Kellerton,Ringgold,IA, where Lewis and Emma are shown on the 1930 census in Monroe Twp,Ringgold,IA. Lewis is buried in Maple Row Cemetery in Kellerton,Ringgold,IA. Lewis and Lydia had six children (Eldon Lee, Raymond El(l)sworth, Ella Matilda, Verna, Effie Mildred, and Grace Lois).
