Samuel Lindsey (1821 -1912) Samuel Lindsey was born in Ohio in 1821. He married Eliza TOMLISON (May 30, 1823-1911) on Oct 30, 1845. Died before 1924.  Nothing further known. Milton Francis - b Nov 20, 1849 in Fayette County, OH - d Jan 17, 1937 near Lamoni,Decatur,IA. Married Lenora "Queenie" BEAVERS (Aug 29, 1855 - Jul 6, 1926) Dec 4, 1873. Ten children were born to this union: Stella, Cordell, Bessie, Eva, Effie May, Hattie M, Lucy Lulu, Frank, Floyd, and a child who died in infancy. The family is listed on the 1880 and 1885 censuses in Leon,Decatur,IA, and on the 1895 census in Eden Township,Decatur,IA. Milton and Lenora divorced ca1905, and Milton appears on the 1910 census in Ward 1 Leon,Decatur,IA with his father, Samuel. Lenora appears on the 1910 census in Davis City,Decatur,IA with the children. Both Milton and Lenora are buried in the Beavers Cemetery in Woodland Township,Decatur,IA. Harriet L - b Jul 4, 1851 Fayette County OH-d Jun 23, 1924 Leon,Decatur,IA.  Married W J SULLIVAN Oct 5, 1871 in Leon,Decatur,IA.  Harriet and W J had one child (Charles).  Joined the Leon Methodist Episcopal Church in 1890.  Buried in the Leon Cemetery in Leon,Decatur,IA. Wade M - b Dec 28, 1853 Fayette County OH-d Nov 13, 1924 Leon,Decatur,IA.  Married Maria B HOFFMAN (ca1855-1895) Nov 5, 1874 in Leon,Decatur,IA.  Two children were born to this union (John and Will).  Wade, Maria, and WIll appear on the 1880 census in Leon,Decatur,IA.  Wade married Cora E GRAY in 1899.  Wade is buried in the Leon Cemetery in Leon,Decatur,IA.
